Goals for a Thriving Community
My goal is to help build a Ward 2 and an Ajax that remains affordable, safe, and full of opportunity for future generations. I want our community to be a place where families can thrive, seniors can age comfortably, young people can build their future, and local businesses can succeed.
If elected, I will focus on improving housing affordability, addressing traffic congestion and road safety concerns, supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs, and advocating for practical solutions to homelessness and community well-being. I also want to ensure that growth is managed responsibly and that taxpayer dollars are spent wisely and transparently.
Most importantly, I want residents to feel that they have a representative who listens, responds, and puts their interests first. My vision is an Ajax where residents feel safe in their neighbourhoods, proud of their community, and confident that local government is working on their behalf.
I believe Ajax's best days are still ahead of us, and I am committed to helping build a stronger, safer, and more affordable future for everyone who calls our community home.
My Action Plan for Progress
Achieving these goals starts with listening to residents and working collaboratively with Ajax Council, Durham Region Council, community organizations, and local stakeholders. Good leadership is not just about identifying problems—it's about bringing people together to find practical solutions and delivering results.
I will advocate for responsible growth and housing policies that help keep Ajax affordable while ensuring infrastructure keeps pace with development. To address traffic and road safety concerns, I will support investments in transportation infrastructure, advocate for safer intersections and traffic improvements, and work to reduce congestion throughout our community.
I will champion local businesses and entrepreneurs by supporting a more efficient permit process and reducing unnecessary barriers to growth. By encouraging investment and job creation, we can strengthen our local economy and help reduce pressure on residential taxpayers.
I will also support practical and compassionate approaches to homelessness by working with Durham Region and community partners to improve access to housing and support services while maintaining safe and welcoming public spaces.
Most importantly, I will remain accessible and accountable to residents. I believe elected officials should listen, communicate openly, and ensure that the voices of residents are represented in every decision. My commitment is to work hard, stay engaged, and always put the interests of Ajax residents first.

Success means building a community where people feel safe raising their families, businesses are thriving, neighbourhoods remain welcoming, and future generations have the same opportunities that have made Ajax a great place to call home.
